Hiring: Project Engineer III

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $51+/hr

Schedule: Full-time On-site

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Level III Project Engineer in Houston to lead technical execution for integrity maintenance and remediation projects within the natural gas and petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities

Lead engineering execution for ILI digs, corrosion mitigation, and integrity repairs

Develop execution strategies aligned with project lifecycle processes

Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to meet quality and schedule goals

Support commissioning, closeout, and regulatory documentation

Provide technical mentorship and problem resolution

Ensure compliance with PHMSA codes and safety standards

Monitor costs, resources, and project controls

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

5+ years of engineering experience in natural gas or petrochemical industry

2+ years in integrity, corrosion mitigation, or asset maintenance roles

Strong knowledge of PHMSA 192/195 regulations

Project lifecycle and constructability experience
