Summary:
The Inventory Specialist coordinates all activities related to raw material storage, issuing of materials to production, and maintenance of related records.
Responsibilities:
Coordination and communication with production and inventory personnel
Analysis and evaluation of materials and issuing of released jobs to ensure support of customer deliveries and operational performance
Track inventory of raw material and job transactions for issuing
Issues and delivers parts and materials
Maintains inventory cycle counts and performs physical inventories
Drives vehicles to transport stored items from warehouse or to pick up items from other locations for shipment
Stocks warehouse and ensures that materials and parts in the warehouse are stored and accounted for properly
Perform other duties as assigned

Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Must possess a valid drivers license
Must be able to operate a forklift
Qualifications/Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred two to four years related experience, or combination of education and experience
Very detailed oriented individual with good verbal and written communication skills
Apics Certification Preferred
Inventory management experience required, using MRP/ERP systems
Able to read and follow complex written instructions
Computer experience required, specifically Excel
