OnBase Solutions Developer

First Merchants Bank is excited to invite applications for the OnBase Solutions Developer role! In this position, you will be crucial in designing, developing, and implementing OnBase solutions that cater to the unique needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Develop OnBase Solutions: Tailor OnBase solutions that meet business requirements, promote automation, and enhance value delivery and efficiency.

Scripting and API Development: Create and maintain OnBase Unity scripts and APIs to boost functionality, facilitate integration with other systems, and automate processes.

Customize and Configure OnBase Modules: Optimize core OnBase features like Workflow, WorkView, and Unity Forms to improve business processes and productivity.

Collaboration with Stakeholders: Engage with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to collect and evaluate requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Effective Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, system performance, and any issues affecting operations.

System Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct comprehensive testing on OnBase solutions to detect and resolve issues, ensuring reliability and performance.

Documentation: Keep detailed records of all OnBase configurations, customizations, and workflows for clarity and future enhancements.

Continuous Improvement: Seek out avenues for enhancements to systems, processes, and automation initiatives.

Team Collaboration: Work alongside other teams at First Merchants to meet both business and technical requirements, ensuring systems are secure and scalable.

Project Execution: Deliver significant business projects on schedule and with high quality.

To thrive in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

High School diploma or GED.

A minimum of five (5) years experience in an OnBase Administrator role or comparable position.

At least two (2) years of experience with OnBase Unity scripts.

Two (2) years of experience in .NET scripting languages (preferably C#) and SQL.

OnBase Certified System Administrator and Certified Hyland Developer Specialist certifications.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

OnBase Certified WorkView Administrator.

Experience with other ECM (Enterprise Content Management) systems.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Knowledge of data integration and migration techniques such as Web Services, Webhooks, and Rest API.

Strong knowledge of OnBase architecture and modules.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
