Camera Operator for Dance Events

Duration: February - June 2026

Compensation: $150-$400/Day + Travel Pay + All Expenses

The Role

We are excited to invite enthusiastic and talented Camera Operators to join our vibrant team. You will travel across the U.S. to capture and stream diverse dance competitions, recitals, and workshops, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional media services to dance studios and performers everywhere.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate video, audio, and streaming equipment on-site for seamless production.

Conduct detailed daily video and audio checks to ensure top-notch broadcast quality.

Film and log performances, manage live streaming, and efficiently upload daily footage.

Handle data transfers (FTP/shipping) following events.

Travel nationwide to designated venues, whether by car or plane.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in filming live events, sports, or action performances.

Strong technical abilities in camera operation, including exposure, white balance, and audio management.

Ability to lift 50 lbs, work long hours (12-16 hours), and travel from Thursday to Monday as required.

Must live within 1 hour of an airport and have a valid U.S. driver's license.

Comfortable in loud music environments with flashing lights and extended periods of stationary work.

Willing to clear a Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector check.

Perks

Paid training will be provided in January and February 2026.

All travel and hotel accommodations will be covered, including single-occupancy rooms.

Travel time will be compensated.

All necessary equipment will be supplied.

Key Dates

Virtual Training: 1 day each week in January (4 days total).

Infield Training: 2 training sessions at actual events in January and February.

Major Event Dates:

Feb 27-Mar 1, Mar 6-8, Mar 13-15, Mar 20-22, Mar 27-29

Apr 10-12, Apr 17-19, Apr 24-26

May 1-3, May 8-10, May 15-17, May 29-31

June 5-7

Additional Opportunities: Events are scheduled until the end of July.
