Job Title: Barge Unloader / Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Delhi, Oh

We are currently seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Barge Unloader / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team just south of Delhi, Oh. Our company receives raw materials by barge, stores them in silos, and sells/dispenses materials used in various types of production.

Schedule

Monday-Friday

1st Shift (staggered start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM depending on current assignment)

Key Responsibilities

Unload material from barges using heavy equipment

Load trucks using PLC-operated loadout systems

Move barges using winches

Operate skid steer and other heavy equipment (backhoe experience a plus)

Monitor material handling processes and maintain accuracy

Perform basic troubleshooting and demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude

Qualifications

Previous barge unloading or river work experience preferred

Experience operating heavy equipment (skid steer, backhoe) strongly preferred

Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail required

Basic computer skills and comfort working with PLC systems beneficial

Ability to work in an outdoor industrial environment
