CNC Programmer

Job Description

Seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for milling machines and lathes. This role focuses on precision machining, process improvement, and collaboration with engineering and production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Create CNC programs using CAM software (Mastercam, CATIA)

Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining

Use CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for part and fixture design

Set up and optimize CNC lathes and milling machines

Apply GD&T and inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM)

Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues

Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement

Maintain documentation and follow safety standards

Required Experience & Skills

CNC programming experience with Mazak, Haas, or Siemens controls

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA)

Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge

Hands-on CNC lathe and mill experience

Mechanical aptitude and tooling knowledge

Ability to work independently or in a team with strong attention to detail.Company Description
