While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, in-person participation is required at various times throughout the year. We host team and company-wide offsites multiple times annually to enhance collaboration and connection, and attendance is both expected and fully supported.
To enhance our expanding Enterprise Applications team, we are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) who shares our passion for converting technology into essential business value. The Senior TPM will work alongside data governance and enterprise applications teams and closely collaborate with engineering teams to drive the successful delivery of technology programs, application, and integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead large-scale enterprise data projects that are complex and require cross-functional collaboration.
Engage with both internal and external partners (such as HR, Finance, Customer Experience, Product, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Security, Engineering, Privacy, and Data Governance) to gather business requirements and establish clear objectives.
Provide technical expertise in project, process, and system development to coordinate the delivery of enterprise data, integration, and architectural initiatives across the organization.
Oversee the Integration Platform Services program with an emphasis on product management.
Communicate updates on risks, project status, and timelines to partners and senior management during regular business reviews.
Define and monitor data project/program milestones aligned with our Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Offer status updates and visibility during operational review meetings.
Lead the end-to-end execution of an enterprise data program to comply with regulatory requirements regarding customer and financial data.
Oversee requirements documentation, milestone tracking, prioritization, and communication to facilitate effective project collaboration.
What We Are Looking For:
5+ years of experience in project/program management and working closely with engineering teams.
Proficient in several SaaS applications, including Snowflake, Salesforce.com, Workday, Workato, Netsuite, Zip Intake/P2P, or similar enterprise applications.
Adept at engaging with both technical and non-technical partners to foster alignment.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to processes tailored to the challenges at Coinbase.
Experience applying Lean, Agile, ITIL, or process improvement to optimize workflows.
Exceptional at coordinating intricate engineering/data teams and effectively delivering value to our customers.
A creative problem solver skilled at navigating project hurdles.
Highly proficient in Jira, Slack, and G-Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Program Management or Project Management.
A keen interest and knowledge in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
Advanced understanding of G-Suite, Slack, Jira, and Coda.
Experience in product management.
Background in engineering.
