Are you a detail-oriented, problem-solver with a passion for mechanical design and manufacturing? If so, this is the job for you! A local manufacturing facility, located in Sioux Center IA, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. In this role, youâ ll be instrumental in supporting engineering operations, developing project designs, and ensuring production success through technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze field data from sales personnel to support engineering decisions.

Perform engineering analysis and develop preliminary designs with appropriate equipment selection.

Prepare technical specifications, blueprints, schematics, layouts, and visual aids.

Create detailed parts lists, assembly drawings, and component documentation.

Provide technical support to the production team and assist with manuals and related tasks.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of math, physics, and applicable regulations.

Proficient in CAD tools; CNC and welding experience a plus.

Ability to perform on-site visits and physically handle tasks (lift 50 lbs, climb stairs/ladders).

Skilled in organizing technical documents and blueprints.

Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
