Description: The Fleet Hardware Support Specialist / Mobile IT Technician provides hands-on support
for Central Outreach Wellness Center’s mobile fleet, RVs, and onsite hardware needs. This role reports
directly to the Fleet and Mobile Equipment Manager and focuses on execution, maintenance, and day-
to-day operational support for vehicles, RV-based IT systems, and clinic hardware.
This position will assist with RV transportation, outreach logistics throughout the state of Ohio, and
mobile clinic readiness. The ideal candidate has IT and hardware experience, is comfortable driving
large vehicles, and is willing to obtain a CDL (company-paid if not already licensed).
General Duties and Responsibilities
Onsite Hardware; IT Support
Serve as the primary onsite hardware support.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain clinic hardware including: Workstations, monitors, printers, peripherals
Networking equipment and connectivity issues.
Assist HIT Hardware leadership with device deployment, replacements, and troubleshooting.
Support inventory tracking and asset tagging using the Mojo Help Desk system.
Escalate complex IT or security issues to HIT leadership as appropriate.
Mobile IT; RV Technology Support
Assist with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure in RVs and mobile units.
Support portable medical and IT equipment used in mobile clinics and outreach events.
Ensure RV technology readiness prior to deployments (connectivity, power, devices).
Assist with setup and teardown of temporary clinics, community outreach, and special events.
Train staff on basic use and care of mobile IT equipment as needed.
Fleet Operations; Vehicle Support
Assist with routine fleet maintenance coordination (oil changes, inspections, minor repairs).
Help maintain accurate vehicle records including mileage, inspections, and service documentation.
Support RV cleanliness, readiness, winterization, storage, and sewage dumping as needed.
Assist with fleet scheduling and vehicle requests in Mojo.
Coordinate vehicle transport between locations as required.
Driving and Transportation
Drive RVs and fleet vehicles between clinic sites, outreach locations, and storage facilities as needed.
Hold a valid CDL or be willing to obtain a CDL (training and expenses covered by the company).
Follow all vehicle safety protocols and organizational driving standards.
Assist with pre and post trip inspections and documentation.
Outreach; Event Support
Assist with ordering, tracking, and transporting outreach equipment (tables, canopies, chairs, etc.).
Support mobile clinics and outreach events with logistics, setup, and IT support.
Work collaboratively with Outreach, Marketing, and HIT teams during events.
Administration; Documentation Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records related to hardware, fleet activity, and inventory.
Assist with documentation of fleet and IT processes to support continuity and
redundancy.
Support expense tracking and reporting as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements
Experience with IT hardware, technical support, or fleet operations.
Comfort driving large vehicles; RV driving experience strongly preferred.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Willingness to obtain a CDL (company-sponsored if needed).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while following established processes.
Comfortable with physical tasks related to vehicles, equipment transport, and setup.
Willing to work a minimal extended travel schedule.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and occasional overnight travel.
Ability to lift and transport equipment.
Frequent movement between clinic, vehicles, and outreach locations.
Advanced knowledge of computer skills, HP products, Apple products
Punctuality and impeccable attendance

Technical skills with required office equipment
Completely understand the healthcare privacy laws as outlined in HIPAA

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting healthcare, mobile clinics, or outreach programs.
Familiarity with ticketing or asset management systems (e.g., Mojo).
Experience working with mobile IT, networking, or connectivity solutions.
CDL obtained.
