About the Role
ZwillGen is looking for a full-time accounting assistant who is motivated and hungry for a challenge! This position will work with the Controller to ensure the smooth operation of the accounting/finance function at the Firm. In addition to the traditional responsibilities below, we strongly encourage our staff to improve on established methods, seek out inefficiencies, and help build an infrastructure that can support a growing firm.
Responsibilities
Responsible for entering invoices into Quickbooks from ProLaw
Work collaboratively with billing team to ensure accurate application of payments to client accounts
Apply cash receipts
Reconcile firm expenses and credit card statements
Assist with the monthly billing process
Maintain accurate accounting data in Quickbooks and other systems as needed
Process accounts payable
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Knowledge, Education and Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Bookkeeping experience is a plus, but not required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities
Ability to organize workflow and use time efficiently
Ability to anticipate work needs and follow up on own initiative
Demonstrate a strong ethical code
Compensation & Benefits
ZwillGen is committed to pay transparency in accordance with applicable wage laws. The salary range for this position is $53,000 - $63,000 annually, based on qualifications, skills, and level of experience.
