I have a client here in Des Moines seeking two candidates with JAVA and INFORMATICA MDM experience. Please note this is a JAVA position with heavy INFORMATICA experience. Role starts remote, could relocate to Des Moines, IA after COVID. 1 round ZOOM interview then offer.

Role: Java Developer with Informatica MDM

Location: Des Moines, IA

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: $market All Inclusive

Why is this position open? We are looking to accelerate a key digital transformation effort

How is it impacting the business? Our Master Data Management replacement initiative (where this contractor will be aligned) is intended to provide better data to our integrated systems we have across the company. Ultimately, this effort will enable better quality data, enable improvements to customer experiences, and improve business processes.

What is the scope of the project? (Please provide 3 - 4 sentences of the project work and what do day to day responsibilities look) See response to #4 above

What technologies or systems will this contingent worker be utilizing? This contractor will be asked to join an existing team and work on whatever is most important at the time. Experience with java will be required as the services in this space use that language.

A variety of technologies exist in our stack including:

Informatica MDM

PowerCenter / ETL

iii. Oracle

DB2

Kibana/Elastic Search

SQL

vii. REST / SOAP services

If a candidate does not have all the technologies listed, would there be technologies you would consider “similar” and/or “transferable” for this position? Java is a must have. Others I’ve listed in question #6 above will be beneficial and preference will be given to candidates with proven experience with technologies listed.
