Responsibilities

The carpenter constructs, erects, installs, or repairs structures.

This is position is located in Stennis Space Center.

Work Model: Onsite

Qualifications

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Performs general carpentry work using hand tools and power tools involved in erecting wooden structures, building frames, installing exterior and interior walls, trim, doors, windows, laying floor tile and installation of ceiling tile; builds concrete forms and scaffolds.

Performs maintenance and repair work on buildings and facilities.

Builds and installs inside fixtures, cabinets, etc.

Prepares layout, selects materials and constructs in conformance with blueprints, sketches or verbal instructions.

All other duties as assigned.
