Description Supervisor 3rd shift: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am Columbus, OH Description Position Summary The Schnellecke Shift Supervisor is a salaried, exempt leadership role responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations during assigned 12-hour shifts (day or night). This position ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations while leading hourly team members to meet productivity, quality, and customer service goals.

The Shift Supervisor plays a key role in driving operational excellence within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities · Lead and supervise warehouse and logistics operations during assigned 12-hour day or night shifts · Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures · Manage staffing, workflow, and labor planning to meet operational demands · Coach, train, and develop hourly team members; address performance and conduct issues · Monitor productivity, quality, and service metrics; communicate results to management · Resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives · Participate in audits, inspections, and customer requirements as needed Requirements Qualifications · High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred · Prior supervisory experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution required · Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills · Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications · Ability to work a rotating or fixed schedule of 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required Work Environment · Must be able to work in a plant and office environment.

· Must be able to be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, and vibration, wet and humid weather conditions.

· Exposure to occasionally loud noise levels.

· The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.

· Bending and/or reaching may be required.

· Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on the shop floor to prevent injury to oneself or others.
