Summary:
Under direction of the Clinical Director and the RN Case Manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse - MHCAH role provides supportive and restorative care to resident patients and administers medications and treatments according to policies, procedures, and standards of the nursing practice.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program required.
License/Certifications:
*Current applicable state(s) license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required.
*Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. IV certification required.
*Valid driver’s license with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy required.
Experience:
One year of experience in an acute care hospital or skilled nursing facility preferred.
