Assistant Operations Manager

Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Operations Manager, where you will play a vital role in propelling our restaurant toward success. Your focus will be on profitability, exceptional guest service, team development, and operational efficiency. Collaborate closely with the Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant functions, aiming to achieve key performance indicators. In this role, you will directly manage a team of 20-45 Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members.

Key Responsibilities:

Profitability:

Manage inventory with daily, weekly, and monthly checks to ensure optimal stock levels.

Efficiently coordinate the placing and receiving of inventory orders.

Maintain an updated inventory of all restaurant assets, conducting regular checks.

Ensure all restaurant equipment and facilities receive necessary preventative maintenance as per company standards.

Follow all cash control and security protocols, including safe counting and managing cash drawers.

Guest Experience:

Motivate and support team members to exceed guest expectations by delivering quick and friendly service in a clean environment.

People Development:

Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to Shift Coordinators and Team Members, enhancing their skills and boosting overall restaurant performance.

Operational Excellence:

Lead the team in the efficient and accurate preparation and sale of menu items, ensuring prompt delivery within established time frames.

Uphold operational and brand standards to guarantee a consistent and high-quality guest experience.

Be prepared to step into Hourly Shift Coordinator duties when required to ensure seamless restaurant operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.

High School Diploma or GED is required; 2 years of college is preferred.

1-2 years of experience in a quick-service restaurant, with management experience preferred.

Basic understanding of P&L statements and their impact on profitability.

Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities.

Solid understanding of guest service principles.

Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Able to work long or irregular shifts to meet restaurant needs.
