Senior Data Center Electrical Engineering Specialist

Oracle is seeking a Senior Data Center Electrical Engineering Specialist to lead the design and execution of innovative data center projects. This role serves as a vital link between Oracle and our data center partners, focused on electrical design aspects such as power generation, storage, delivery systems, grounding, lightning protection, and fire alarm solutions, for both new builds and existing facility upgrades. Ideal candidates will bring extensive experience in designing and delivering mission-critical facilities, as well as professional qualifications in electrical engineering, taking responsibility for design decisions across various data center projects.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead projects, guiding the engineering teams to ensure successful design and execution that meets Oracle's high standards.

Utilize expert knowledge of engineering systems to diagnose and resolve non-routine issues, applying industry standards and safe working practices.

Develop training programs for junior team members and expand expertise through industry engagement and collaboration.

Oversee effective contract administration, including the creation and review of relevant documentation.

Mentor junior engineers while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes.

Contribute to the formation and maintenance of top-tier policies and procedures to enhance operational standards.

Address complex, cross-functional challenges with creativity and independence, recommending enhancements to improve systems.

Exhibit subject matter expertise in electrical engineering, leading seminars and conferences related to data center innovations.
