About the Role:

As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications utilizing Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Angular.

Conduct technical analysis and impact assessments for enhancements, upgrades, and platform migrations.

Be experienced with enterprise-level ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA, HPPPM) and their operational workflows.

Collaborate on projects utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies, managing Incidents, Service Requests, and Change Requests effectively.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless integration with internal and external systems.

Implement and manage middleware configurations across platforms such as WebSphere, JBoss, MQ, OpenShift, and API Gateways.

Provide technical troubleshooting and resolution for complex application and integration issues on Linux, Windows, and z/OS platforms.

Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Java applications and database queries.

Create technical documentation including Knowledge Base articles and SOPs for business and support teams.

Participate in upgrade projects for operating systems, middleware, and database versions.

Adopt DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native development.

Understand both functional and technical requirements to provide implementation options aligned with business needs.

What You Will Need:

Over 15 years of experience in Java Full Stack technologies: Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, Microservices, Maven.

Proficiency in Middleware & Integration Technologies: WebSphere Application Server, JBoss, OpenShift, MQ, API Gateways.

Experience with Database Technologies: Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, Teradata.

Familiarity with DevOps Tools and Automation: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions (CI/CD), Docker.

The estimated salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 annually for a full-time schedule. Actual placement in this range may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs may include an annual bonus based on performance and an equity grant through our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
