Tesla isseekinga highly motivated Technical Program Manager to join the Battery Pack Manufacturing team. You will manage program execution from product design to factory operations, collaborating with world-class engineers who design and manufacture high-volume battery lines.
The role requires a highly organized mindset, passion for launchingnew technologies, and exceptional ability to unite teams for results. Our manufacturing processes and schedules push physical limits, demanding extreme attention to detail while driving cross-functional teams to execute quickly and at high quality. You will foster collaboration across design engineering, manufacturing, quality, facilities, and production to align with company priorities. Additionally, you will understand project opportunities, challenges, and dependencies; translate scattered information into concise, complete messages; and communicate them to every team member. As the business process developmentlead, you will develop,maintain, and implement tools and processes to accelerate battery manufacturing execution, achieve cross-functional alignment, and deliver highly efficient systems. What You'll Do
Manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful launches of new manufacturing lines
Collaborate with global teams to develop novel and complex automation equipment
Create,maintain, and communicate schedules and plans for battery manufacturing projects, including process development, validation, line design, equipment fabrication, FAT, shipping, SAT, and SOP
Prepare roll-up information and reports for senior leadership on project status, blockers, and changes
Coordinate build milestones with Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, and Production teams
Track equipment readiness, project costs, and drive cost management improvements
Provide technical leadership and project management toidentifycreative,timelysolutions to key program challenges What You'll Bring
4+ years of experience in a mix of engineering and project management fields
Can communicate with technical and non-technical team members effectively
Works well under pressure and manages conflicting prioritieswith ease
Ability to work cross-functionally, manage large teams, and adapt to changes quickly
Experience with high-volume manufacturingand new product introduction
