Java Architect

Role: Java Architect

Location: North Quincy, MA - hybrid onsite

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance Java-based applications.

Define architecture blueprints, technical standards, and best practices.

Lead the selection of frameworks, platforms, and tools.

Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to development teams.

Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across projects.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.

Participate in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a Java Architect or Senior Java Developer.

Strong knowledge of:

Core Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)

RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture

JPA/Hibernate, SQL/NoSQL databases

Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)

CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
