MIG Welder – Build Something Solid with Us

Location: Northfield, MN

Work Type: On-site

If you take pride in clean welds, enjoy working from blueprints, and want a steady schedule with great benefits, this could be a great fit. We’re looking for skilled MIG Welders to join our manufacturing team and help build high-quality components from steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Available Shifts

Choose the schedule that works best for you:

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:15 PM – 2:30 AM

Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

These schedules offer built-in days off and consistent hours.

What You’ll Do

Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with specifications

Follow established welding procedures and adjust equipment as needed

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production and quality

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols

Safe and effective operation of welding equipment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Willingness to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime

Preferred Qualifications

Welding certification from a recognized technical program or accrediting body

Experience welding aluminum and stainless steel
