Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:
• Monitor and maintain production servers, MES applications, databases, and network infrastructure to ensure stable operation of manufacturing and warehouse systems;
• Design, code, test, and implement configuration changes and enhancements to MES software applications using languages such as C#, C++, VB, and related technologies to meet evolving production requirements;
• Analyze existing MES source code and system architecture to troubleshoot process logic issues and improve manufacturing data flow and system efficiency;
• Configure and integrate MES with production equipment (e.g., PLCs, smart tools, barcode/QR scanners, cameras, printers) using KEPWARE, OPC communication protocols, and related industrial connectivity tools;
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and scheduled jobs within SQL Server environments to support reporting, traceability, and inter-system data exchange;
• Evaluate MES-based business systems and conduct system landscape analysis to recommend and implement improvements aligned with operational and strategic goals;
• Coordinate with production engineering teams, operators, and management to translate business requirements into logical data models and scalable IT solutions; and
• Plan and implement modifications, upgrades, and security enhancements to IT infrastructure, while supporting enterprise systems such as ERP interfaces, EDI/RFC integrations, and related enterprise applications.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and at least six (6) months of relevant experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), systems integration, database management, and/or IT systems within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
