Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce quality parts. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Run parts to meet quality and productivity standards, removing finished parts from the machine.
Set up and operate machines to produce quality parts without assistance.
Access prints and instructions, observe machine operation, and verify part conformity.
Perform preventive maintenance
Maintain quality by performing quality set-ups, checks, and completing required documentation.
Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment.
Essential Skills
Proficient in CNC operations and blueprint reading.
Experience with CNC machines, calipers, and micrometers.
2 or more years of related work experience.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Machining knowledge.
Ability to maintain quality standards and perform inspections.
Familiarity with quality and machine shop procedures.
Work Environment
We are currently hiring for the 2nd shift (Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12 AM) and the 3rd shift (Sunday to Thursday, 12 AM to 7:30 AM). The work environment is safety-focused and supportive of team initiatives, with a shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Pay:
$19-$23 per hour Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gainesville, GA.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.43 - $23.69/hr.
