Summary:

This role develops and implements systems level performance parameters and drives improvement in key machine performance characteristics such as accuracy, pick performance, throughput and reliability during the product development phase.

Principal Accountabilities:

Works with cross-functional teams to develop systems level solutions in areas such has accuracy, throughput, pick performance and reliability.

Predicts, measures and analyzes product reliability and performance specifications using engineering best practices.

Manages subsystem integration and testing during product development processes.

Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical summary reports.

Facilitates and manages the definition of system level critical performance parameters on assigned projects.

Develops system and subsystem verification plans and procedures.

Responsible for analysis assigned per the product development process.

Assists in developing system and subsystem architecture.

Facilitates Design for Six Sigma product development processes such as Voice of the Customer, House of Quality, Systems Requirement Document, Design Failure Modes Effect Criticality Analysis, Allocation Models, and Robustness Development.

Provides tasks and related direction to assigned technicians. Minimum Requirements:

Relevant Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of experience

Equivalent professional experience in lieu of degree, may be considered.

Relevant experience to include encompassing integration of software, electrical and mechanical systems to include conceptualizing, designing, developing, evaluating and testing HW/SW and mechanical systems.

Demonstrated experience with cross-functional teams.

High-level communications skills (interpersonal, written, verbal) are essential to assure success of systems integration effort across multiple product teams and functional groups. Responsibility for Quality Procedures or Direct Product Quality:

Adheres to Universal Quality System policies and procedures and uses Total Cycle Time principles and standard problem solving tools to continuously improve work processes. Physical Demands:

Requires the ability to use a computer on a frequent basis.

May have to remain stationary for extended periods, but also needs to be mobile enough to navigate through work areas.

Position requires the ability to understand and interpret detailed documents and drawings.

The ability to travel to customer sites or technical conferences may occasionally be required.

Target Annual Base Pay: $75,000 - $85,000 + Robust Benefits
