Duration/Schedule: Flexible part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months.
Location: Shawano, WI Onsite
Start Date: May 2026 What We're Looking For:
Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Ability to succeed in a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks. Preferred Experience:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
AutoCAD experience. What You'll Focus On:
Lead 1-2 small safety projects from start to finish, including design, coordination, and implementation.
Work directly with operations, vendors, and fabricators to align project scope and execution.
Assist with design and specification of equipment for the HEL2 / bar line consolidation project.
Create and modify designs in SolidWorks; support development of fabrication-ready drawings.
Observe and learn about foundry equipment, material flow, and process fundamentals.
Summarize contributions in a final presentation to site leadership.
