About the role:
Perform integrated testing activities on Safety Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Systems for Commercial Nuclear Plant equipment. This work will include some planning for and executing system and integrated functional testing of deliverable plant I&C equipment. You will work with and lead a team of engineers to develop test procedures, perform testing and write test reports to verify and validate I&C systems, ensuring test coverage related to the I&C system requirements. Lead the development and improvement of test methods, systems and tools related to testing, system verification and validation, and quality assurance. You will report to the Manager, System Testing - Global I&C Production & IV&V on-site at the Warrendale, PA facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop strategies to test Instrumentation and Control Systems for Commercial Nuclear Plant equipment
Develop test procedures from System Design and Software Requirement documents
Lead a team of engineers and perform Logic diagram analysis to develop test cases
Lead and perform test program execution
Author, review, and issue test reports
Support root cause investigation of defects and coordinate defect tracking efforts
Support in the planning and maintaining project schedules for test programs and execution
Ensure requirements traceability to specific test cases and V&V method
Qualifications
BS in Electrical, Computer or equivalent Engineering.
MS in Engineering or MBA is a bonus.
Experience participating and leading the following: system testing, verification and validation inspections and testing, embedded I&C systems, logic design, I&C design or software design is a plus.
Relocation is not available for this role.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
