Senior Systems Engineer

12 Months Contract Position

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, including infrastructure architecture and data center migration strategies for hybrid cloud environments

Configure and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)environments, including host pools, workspaces, and custom image deployment

Implement and maintain Azure Synapse SQL Pool solutions, including data loading, security configuration, and performance monitoring

Manage Windows Server environments (2016/2022)and coordinate with vendors for administrative tasks

Perform DevOps activities using PowerShell and automation tools to optimize server performance

Configure and maintain Azure Active Directory hybrid environments using AD Connect

Execute ETL and SAS data load processes for healthcare, medical claims, and financial dat

Work with ETL developers on SSIS package creation and automation

Manage Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server environments

Configure and maintain Power BI reporting infrastructure

Consult with stakeholders on technical requirements and system modifications Required Skills:

Extensive experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure

Strong background in Windows Server administration

Expertise in SQL database management and ETL processes

Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation

Knowledge of Azure AVD and Synapse Analytics

Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures

Background in healthcare data management preferred Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; master's preferred

Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification

VMware vSphere certification

Minimum 10 years of experience in systems administration or engineering

Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure

Proven experience with Windows Server administration (2016/2022)

Knowledge of SQL database management and ETL processes

Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools

Demonstrated experience with Azure Active Directory and hybrid cloud environments Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in healthcare IT environments

ITIL certification

Experience with Cisco networking technologies

Knowledge of healthcare data security and compliance requirements

Previous experience with government IT systems

Experience with .NET Framework and custom coding

Background in project management

Responsibilities:

Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty.

Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products.

Identifies best practices and standards for the use of the product.

Delivers support and design for industry specific technologies that require integration with systems or networks.

Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts.

Functions as a niche technical SME.

Lead experience with technical expertise across large, complex implementations for systems. Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
