Property Maintenance Technician

SUMMERY:

Maintains the properties and facilities by performing the following duties, as well as many related duties that are not listed.

DUTIES:

Plows snow from drives and parking lots, shovels snow from walks and driveways.

Spreads salt / sand on all drives, parking lots and sidewalks.

Maintains drives and lots, including minor repairs; pot holes, grading, etc.

Repairs fences, gates, walls, and walks. Paints fences, outbuildings, and interiors as required.

Remodels offices and other areas as required. May require carpentry, electrical, flooring, and plumbing work.

Maintains and makes repairs on equipment such as lawn mower, spreaders, snow removal equipment, and all grounds keeping equipment.

Cleans and replaces HVAC filters.

Replaces lights, switches, emergency lighting, etc. both indoor and outdoor, as well as some wiring needs.

Performs plumbing functions; clogged drains, new water lines, etc. Installs garbage disposals, toilets, ice makers etc.

Performs minor roof and gutter repairs. May require working from a boom lift.

Moves furniture as needed.

Maintains outdoor recreational equipment. Installs related recreational structures.

Performs all miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to read a tape measure and prints

Must be proactive and a self-starter

Must have good attendance

Must work well with others

Must be able to problem solve & trouble shoot in real time
