Description:

The Director, Partner & Advocacy leads strategy for stakeholder relationships and advocacy within the EMS ecosystem. This role manages the Partner & Advocacy Team to build and maintain partnerships that support the National Registry's mission. The Director strategically oversees stakeholder engagement to strengthen trust, improve collaboration, and keep the National Registry responsive to the EMS community's needs.

Purpose:

This role supports the National Registry's mission by fostering trusted relationships within the EMS ecosystem. The Director upholds transparency, advocacy, and collaboration, ensuring stakeholder needs shape organizational decisions and maintain the National Registry's credibility and integrity.

Essential Functions:

Develop and implement the enterprise relationship and advocacy strategy for the organization.

Lead, mentor, and manage the Partner & Advocacy Team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Engage with stakeholders at all levels to foster collaboration and strengthen partnerships across the EMS ecosystem.

Ensure consistent and strategic management of stakeholder relationships to enhance trust and organizational responsiveness.

Promote transparency and advocacy in all stakeholder interactions, aligning with the mission, vision, and purpose of the National Registry.

Serve as a key representative and advocate for the National Registry within the EMS community and related forums.

Gather and communicate stakeholder insights to inform organizational decision-making and strategy.

Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of relationship and advocacy initiatives.

Acts as advisor to executive leadership regarding the broader EMS and regulatory landscape.

Establishes clear rules for how the National Registry work with partners, decides who is responsible for each relationship, and explains what is expected from the team.

Solves complex stakeholder issues and notifies executive leaderships of those issues; escalates issues when appropriate.

Responsible for CRM and the use of relationship intelligence and data to assess relationship health and risk. Responsible for the reputation of the National Registry through ethics and discretion.

Responsible for developing the department budget, resource prioritization, and optimization of travel planning.

Coordinates internal responsibilities and regular executive briefings. Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required

Senior-level experience in stakeholder relations, government relations, advocacy, enterprise partnerships, or equivalent roles.

Demonstrated success in leading field-based teams and managing CRM systems.

Experience working across complex, multi-stakeholder environments such as public sector, healthcare, education, public safety, or regulatory. Competencies:

Capable of working in an office setting

Walking and standing 15 - 25% during some days

Ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, and climbing. Other Requirements:

Variable travel required, based on current and urgent need.

Manage schedules across all time zones of the United States.

Salary Description

$140,000 - $165,000
