Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the sports industry, is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting product development and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to innovation, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Greenville, Illinois

What's the Job?

Designs cabinet structures for housing electronic components and assemblies

Develops large display systems with a focus on serviceability, manufacturability, and quality

Performs calculations to ensure compliance with building codes and site-specific installation requirements

Uses theoretical and practical knowledge to verify the integrity of mechanical designs

Creates detailed drawings, Bills of Materials, and manages design changes effectively What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience

Strong background in sheet metal design and CAD software proficiency

Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault

Ability to perform stress/load calculations for large cabinet assemblies and installations

Experience programming CNC and turret punch presses is preferred What's in it for me?
