Rate: $50,Based on experience

Experience: 5-10 Years

Location: Onsite

The company is looking for an experienced PLC Engineer to join project focused on developing and scaling a hardware-based manufacturing simulator that will support AI-enabled manufacturing applications.

Role & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance PLC programs for a manufacturing simulation environment

Develop control logic using SCL (Structured Control Language) and Ladder Logic within Siemens TIA Portal

Integrate PLCs with sensor devices and hardware components through wired connections

Support scaling and optimization of the simulator for AI-driven use cases

Troubleshoot PLC logic, hardware connections, and sensor integrations

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and AI teams to ensure system reliability and accuracy

Required Skills & Experience:

5-10 years of hands-on PLC programming experience

Strong expertise in Siemens TIA Portal

Advanced proficiency in SCL programming (mandatory)

Working knowledge of Ladder Programming

Experience connecting and configuring PLC hardware with sensors and field devices

Solid understanding of industrial automation and manufacturing systems Preferred Background:

Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or simulation environments

Prior exposure to projects supporting digital manufacturing or AI-based systems
