Position Summary:
Works in partnership with the Director of Family Services and the Cattaraugus County Family Opportunity Center Program Coordinator to serve families in Cattaraugus County in partnership with the local county department of social services (LCDSS), other community agencies.
Essential Functions:
Implement Protective Factors Instruments.
Maintain evaluation techniques and systems to track participant progress and improvements.
Develop and assess family, personal, and professional goals with participants.
Provide linkages to appropriate services to families.
Network with and maintain a positive relationship with referring agencies.
Perform regular check-ins and follow-ups with participants.
Assist with reporting requirements, data entry, evaluation forms, and other contract requirements.
Be prepared to facilitate related workshops (training provided) on an as needed basis.
Works with Program Coordinator to ensure completion of appropriate paperwork for attendance/record keeping.
Grow a network of resources for participants by connecting with other community agencies.
Communicates with supervising director to maintain safety of participants, facilitators, and staff.
Works directly with the LCDSS to obtain referrals and promote parent training opportunities.
Provide parent coaching and mentoring to participants.
Participate and plan in family engagement events as needed.
Provide basic needs to parents involved in the Family Opportunity Center Services.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field and two (2) years of experience in human services or a Master’s Degree and one (1) years of experience.
Case Management Experience.
Experience working with the Department of Social Services, Connections, and Salesforce system is a plus.
Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Available on a flexible schedule based on program requirements, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
Familiarity with Cattaraugus County and local resources is a plus.
Must have own transportation.
