Position: RN Emergency Room (per diem) - Days/Nights

Location: Redding, CA, 96001

Start date: 02/18/2026 - 08/18/2026

Pay: $140 to $143 depending on experience.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 2/18 - 2/19

RN Emergency room. Must be able to float between units and work weekends. Preference given to candidates available for a full schedule through the end of January and the first week of February. Day shift/night 12-hour shifts.

Minimum compliance requirements must be met prior to starting; full compliance profile must be completed within two weeks after the start date. Position is Per Diem for 26 weeks.

Responsibilities:

Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.

Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Complexity of Work:

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment.Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Expert knowledge of emergency medicine

Active RN license

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional multitasking and time-management skills

Ability to work closely with a team and patients

Willingness to continually learn the latest advancements in emergency medicine

Ability to place intravenous lines, set bones and perform other emergency medical tasks quickly and efficiently

Excellent interpersonal skills.

ADN or BSN in Nursing.

Passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).

Active state license as a registered nurse.

Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification.

CEN certification.
