Intervention Specialist - mild/moderate

Requirements: Current Ohio Teaching license for K-12 Mild/Moderate Summary: To create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth; responsible for all aspects of Special Education services and compliance We are looking for an enthusiastic, empathetic, and creative teacher to fill an open Intervention Specialist (K-12 Mild/Moderate) position.

Primary Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver instruction to identified students in the classroom or resource room, in a small group or 1-on-1, as needed to help students meet IEP goals * Collaborative planning, instruction, and assessment of core subjects with the co-teacher, and provide appropriate learning experiences for the students * Develop IEP and Behavior Plans to meet the needs of the identified students * Attend all ETR and IEP meetings of students on the caseload * Provide Progress Reports as determined by the IEP * Other duties as directed Patriot Preparatory Academy began in 2010 as a K-12 public charter school.
