Location: Columbus, OH
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days (rotating first-shift hours between 0630–1900; occasional Saturdays; holiday weeks 4x10s)
Pay: $3,232/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel outpatient assignment supporting breast imaging services. The technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography with digital and 3D systems in a high-volume setting. Work is primarily first shift with rotating start times and occasional weekend coverage. The role may include coverage at satellite outpatient locations. No biopsy duties are required.
Key Responsibilities
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
Operate digital and 3D mammography equipment
Support outpatient breast imaging workflow
Position patients and ensure image quality and safety
Manage a daily caseload of approximately 10–15 patients
Rotate between primary and satellite outpatient sites as assigned
Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
Document exams in the electronic medical record system
Qualifications
ARRT (R) certification required
ARRT Mammography (M) certification required
Active Ohio Department of Health license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years mammography experience required
Experience with screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3D mammography required
Outpatient mammography experience preferred
Hologic 3D (Tomo) experience preferred
Ability to work rotating day shifts and occasional Saturdays
Ability to meet urgent fingerprinting and compliance timelines
Two professional references required (one from leadership)
