We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Cook to join our culinary team. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys a consistent schedule and will take pride in preparing quality meals for our Veterans, their spouses, and Gold Star parents.

Schedule

Every Monday, Friday and every other weekend, 4:00am to 12:30pm

What You’ll Do

Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines

Ensure meals are appetizing, nutritious, and served on time

Work closely with dietary staff to accommodate special diets and resident preferences

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areasWhat We Offer

Cooking experience in a healthcare, institutional, or commercial kitchen preferred

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Dependable, organized, and respectful demeanor

Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.

Basic computer skills
