Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma (3 years) in a relevant technical discipline
CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 or AWS Certified Welding Inspector
Painting certification: BGAS Level 2 or NACE Level 2 or equivalent
ASNT Level 2 PT, MT, UT, RT or equivalent
Conversant with API 510, API 570, API 650
5 to 8 years minimum experience in inspection of onshore construction activities
Proficient in Windows Operating System and MS Office (Word, Excel)
Excellent communication and reporting skills in English (verbal and written)
Excellent knowledge in Process Piping fabrication and erection
Thorough knowledge of materials: CS, SS, DSS, Inconel
Good experience in blasting and painting inspection/testing of AG/UG coating systems for the above materials
Roles & Responsibilities:
Comply with Client Lifesaving Rules and Contractor/Subcontractor HSE requirements
Witness and monitor construction contractor activities (installation of piping systems, pressure vessels, tanks, etc.)
Perform inspections and tests in accordance with approved ITP, Quality Procedures, and Method Statements
Ensure subcontractors have relevant, up-to-date standards, specifications, procedures, and drawings
Ensure testing and measuring devices are calibrated as per relevant specifications
Participate in receiving inspection of items on site, when required
Perform welding, NDE, PWHT, and hydrotest inspection activities
Issue inspection reports as required
Raise punch items and verify closure upon completion of work
Issue and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
