As a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer, you will contribute to quality assurance of software systems and/or applications to deliver information technology components based on client or customer requirements.

What will be your tasks?

We are seeking a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer who will lead the design, development, and optimization of our automated testing ecosystem. In this role, you will drive quality strategy with impact to architectural decisions, mentor other test engineers, and ensure our systems meet high standards of reliability, performance, and scalability.

You will closely cooperate with system architects, cybersecurity, DevOps and agile teams to ensure seamless integration of quality into the development lifecycle process.

Your daily tasks will include

designing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks mainly for frontend and backend (REST API, AWS services…) test automation,

defining coding standards, testing best practices, and automation patterns to ensure consistency across engineering teams,

introducing and evaluating modern testing technologies, frameworks, including AI driven automation tools,

leading technical investigations and driving improvements for test stability, execution speed, and system quality,

collaborating with product and development teams to refine acceptance criteria, build test strategies, and risk assessment,

providing guidance on testing AI/ML-powered application features (e.g., LLM workflows, non deterministic outputs),

contributing to load and scalability testing and tuning,

collaborating with security engineers on automated security test integrations,

mentoring and coaching QA engineers, developers, and cross functional partners on automation and quality practices,

conducting code reviews, test plan reviews, and technical workshops,

responsibility for performing other job duties as assigned by the management from time to time.

Who are we looking for?

Basic qualifications:

5+ years of experience in QA automation, with deep hands-on expertise in modern test automation frameworks.

Strong coding skills in TypeScript or Python; experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

Strong understanding of microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud-native architecture.

Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and understanding branching/versioning strategies, including participation in code reviews and applying coding standards.

Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD.

Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across the stack (frontend, backend, network/infrastructure, CI).

Demonstrated leadership in driving quality initiatives or automation transformation projects.

Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, k6) or security testing basics.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

Understanding of system and infrastructure considerations for effective test design and test plan creation

Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical and non technical stakeholders.

Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor and guide others.

Proactive, curious, and passionate about raising the bar for engineering quality.

Ability to thrive in fast paced, collaborative environments.

Strong understanding of Agile methodology.

Fluent in English

Top candidates will also have:

Experience with mobile testing (Android / iOS, native or hybrid).

Experience with Apigee or other API gateways.

Experience with security testing - understanding of OWASP standards or penetration testing methodology usage

Familiarity with AI-powered testing, self-healing test tools, or GenAI-assisted QA workflows.
