Position Summary:

Join our team as an Advanced Refrigeration and HVAC Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance, repair, and support of refrigeration and HVAC systems. You'll embody our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities:

Independently drive to various store locations daily.

Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and procedures, including detailed audits.

Perform essential repairs on various HVAC systems.

Navigate and troubleshoot electronic control interfaces.

Assist in the maintenance of buildings and equipment.

Diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.

Handle compressor, large motor, and component replacements.

Keep an accurate and organized inventory of parts.

Safely operate vehicles, powered industrial trucks, and aerial lifts.

Maintain cleanliness of company service vehicles assigned to you.

Communicate effectively with store personnel about equipment use to minimize repeat calls and overtime.

Utilize company email to send and receive important messages.

Document repair, labor, parts purchasing, and usage accurately and promptly.

Adhere to all departmental and company policies and procedures.

Contribute to the development of maintenance Best Practices.

Audit equipment identification lists for registered stores.

Collaborate with other skilled technicians for assistance in repairs as needed.

Provide constructive feedback during performance reviews.

Mentor and train junior technicians.

Meet the physical demands of the role, including endurance for standing/walking, and the ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.

Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

Manage conflicts in a calm and cooperative manner.

Act with integrity regarding customer and business information.

Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary.

Engage positively with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Perform all essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals, and schematics.

Advanced technical training or relevant certifications.

Previous supervisory experience is required.

High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

5-7 years of proven refrigeration/HVAC experience with satisfactory performance.

Hold an EPA Type 2 Certification.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.

Proficiency in using control manufacturers' software.

Valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Demonstrated mentoring and training skills.
