As a Cloud-Native AI Engineer, you will be essential in developing and implementing AI-native solutions, particularly for enterprise environments. If you thrive in dynamic, unpredictable situations and enjoy using technology to optimize workflows and enhance productivity, we want you on our team.

Your Role: You will work closely with clients as a technologist and trusted advisor, defining use cases, prototyping solutions, and deploying innovative workflows. Many of these initiatives will entail developing entirely new systems and platforms that integrate seamlessly within existing infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and create enterprise-ready AI agents focusing on retrieval, orchestration, policy-based routing, tool invocation, evaluation, and lifecycle observability.

Integrate AI Platforms: Develop mechanisms to unify AI providers like Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI for seamless operations.

Leverage cloud-native engineering through containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), microservices, serverless technologies, and CI/CD methodologies to deliver scalable systems.

Tailor domain-specific applications for various sectors such as finance, healthcare, and retail, enhancing processes with intelligent automation.

Engage with clients through design workshops, proof of concepts, and collaborative sessions to refine data-driven workflows and foster adoption.

Establish metrics and testing frameworks to measure agent performance, focusing on accuracy, latency, safety, and cost efficiency.

Create reusable resources, documentation, and best practices to influence internal methodologies and client strategies.

This hybrid position is based in Columbus, OH and requires in-office attendance for three days a week. We may also consider talented candidates from Tampa, FL; Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; or Scottsdale, AZ.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in engineering cloud-native systems, including APIs, microservices, and containerization.

A minimum of 1 year of experience designing and deploying agentic solutions in real-world environments.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience with AI platforms such as OpenAI and building integration layers for multi-providers.

5 years of programming experience in Python, Java, or similar, with knowledge of performance monitoring and debugging tools.

5 years of experience in deploying applications to production using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code frameworks.

5 years of client-facing experience, demonstrating leadership in technical workshops and effective communication in uncertain conditions.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (12 years in the field) is required (If you have an Associate Degree, a minimum of 6 years experience is necessary).
