At Chemours, we see our employees as our greatest asset. We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer to join our dynamic AI & Data Science team. This hybrid position, based in Wilmington DE, offers the option for remote work for the right candidate.

We are looking for a skilled full-stack developer who has experience in designing and launching applications and Generative AI solutions that make a difference. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning. This role fosters collaboration through active engagement with stakeholders and end-users during the development process.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, architect, implement, and productionize applications, focusing on both traditional software and Generative AI solutions.

Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.

Lead impactful initiatives across various business functions such as Manufacturing, Legal, Finance, R&D, Supply Chain, and Sales.

Identify and integrate Generative AI solutions into existing workflows to deliver measurable value.

Own product direction for assigned solutions, managing roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and release planning.

Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

Work with related teams (Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Data Engineering) through architecture, security, and governance reviews.

Address technical debt and build scalable architectures that are well documented and comply with security standards.

Organize user workshops to identify high-return use cases.

Manage the complete lifecycle of deployed applications, including debugging, enhancements, and continuous improvement based on user feedback.

Success in this role will be measured by:

Volume and speed of high-impact applications deployed.

Quality of user experience and code as determined by feedback and usage metrics.

Efficiency in development and maintenance costs/times.

Scalability and reusability of solutions and codebases.

The extent to which the incumbent contributes to team collaboration and technical advancements.

Required Qualifications:

Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in building enterprise-grade applications, ideally utilizing Microsoft Azure tools.

5+ years of advanced backend development using Python.

5+ years of advanced backend development using JavaScript.

4+ years of UI and frontend development experience with React.js, TypeScript, and HTML.

2+ years of experience designing, coding, and deploying custom Generative AI solutions in production.

Excellent communication skills, particularly in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Copilot Studio Generative AI agents.

Knowledge of PyTorch and model training techniques.

Expertise in building CI/CD pipelines in Azure environments.

Enthusiasm for staying current with AI and machine learning advancements.

Experience with Azure Kubernetes.

Knowledge graph design and ontology creation experience.
