Maison Valentine, a premium French pâtisserie and café in Miami Beach, is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef with a strong background in traditional French pastry to join our team.
All products are made fresh daily on site, including viennoiseries, classic French pastries, celebration cakes, tarts, and baked goods, along with a light brunch and lunch menu. We focus on artisanal production, authentic French techniques, and high-quality ingredients.
This is a hands-on role for a pastry professional who will contribute to daily production, maintain quality standards, help organize workflow, support custom orders and catering growth, and assist in training team members.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare daily production of French pastries, cakes, tarts, viennoiseries, and baked goods
• Apply traditional French techniques and ensure consistency in quality and presentation
• Organize production to meet retail and custom order demand
• Support new product development and catering orders
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and proper stock management
• Collaborate with the kitchen team and help guide junior staff
Requirements
• Formal pastry training (preferred in French system)
• Minimum 5 years of professional pastry experience
• Strong knowledge of traditional French techniques
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Experience in fresh daily production environments
• Team player; French language is a plus
