Job Summary
As a Lead Applications Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building enterprise application systems tailored to the specific needs of our company. Your expertise will span across various technology disciplines, ensuring solutions are stable, scalable, and secure. You will address complex business problems holistically, incorporating people, processes, and technology into innovative design solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Applying and promoting key principles such as performance and compatibility to achieve the best technology balance.
Monitoring emerging technologies and evaluating their potential integration within the organization.
Adhering to established design and application development standards within a governance framework.
Acting as an industry specialist in one or more systems technologies.
Leading software and application design methodologies in compliance with development standards.
Managing multiple projects by gathering business requirements and crafting both conceptual and technical designs.
Collaborating closely with Architects and business teams to align development efforts with strategic direction.
Building strong relationships with IT leaders and technical teams to address and resolve challenges effectively.
Providing guidance and leadership to engineers on the team, ensuring quality deliverables.
Developing software and participating in peer reviews to uphold quality standards.
Assessing options for building versus buying solutions in application system delivery.
Driving architecture and design discussions while ensuring compliance with software development standards.
Supporting system performance, budgeting, planning, and ensuring application stability and scalability.
Organizing and managing cross-team project tasks and deliverables efficiently.
Preparing presentations and solutions for technical and business review committees.
Understanding the business area and the company's overarching objectives.
Fostering collaboration and communication across organizations and leading by example.
Offering constructive feedback for continuous improvement in people, processes, and technology.
Job Qualifications
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Required Experience
2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in technology.
5+ years of hands-on technical implementation experience within mid to large IT enterprise environments.
8+ years of overall IT technical experience with enterprise infrastructure.
Required License, Certification, Association
Industry certifications are required.

Pay Range: $117,731 - $275,491 / ANNUAL
