LPN Compensation The pay for this position is $25-$30 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates LPN Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs 2nd shift available: 2:15 PM - 10:15 PM Days off are either Sunday & Monday OR Friday & Saturday (must confirm with candidate prior to submission) LPN Responsibilities Administer nursing care within scope of practice per Ohio Revised Code Section 4723.01 under appropriate clinical direction Administer medications (including controlled substances per scope), oxygen therapy, injections, wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection Assist physicians and healthcare providers with exams, treatments, and procedures Monitor, observe, document, and report patient conditions, reactions, and progress Maintain medication accountability records, patient charts, and required clinical documentation Provide direct patient care including vital signs, hygiene assistance, repositioning, and daily living activities Respond to patient alarms and assist in emergency situations, including CPR and first aid Escort patients to appointments and assist with therapeutic and recreational activities Support and provide guidance to lower-level direct care staff Order medications and medical supplies; maintain cleanliness of nursing stations and medication areas Participate in team meetings, trainings, and interdisciplinary conferences as assigned Perform clerical and administrative tasks as needed Requirements Active Ohio LPN license Knowledge of practical nursing procedures, pharmacology, patient care, CPR, and first aid Ability to operate medical equipment and basic computer systems Ability to recognize emergency situations and respond appropriately Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills Physical ability to assist, reposition, or restrain patients when necessary Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a hospital, institutional, or clinical setting Experience working with interdisciplinary care teams If you think this position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, email, or apply to this posting!
