Rate: $95.00 to $105.00/hr. W2

Responsibilities:

Analyze user needs to define functional and non-functional performance requirements.

Develop performance testing strategies, plans, and requirements for complex systems.

Identify and communicate problems, constraints, and risks associated with system performance.

Conduct analyses to pinpoint required performance testing tasks and their interdependencies.

Estimate resources necessary for performance testing activities.

Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.

Assist in test automation for performance and integration testing.

Provide expertise in information systems architecture, networking, and software performance.

Support risk management and independent validation and verification activities.

Prepare clear performance analysis reports with findings and actionable recommendations.

Effectively present results to technical teams and government stakeholders.

Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum eight years of IT experience with a focus on performance and automated testing for enterprise systems.

Recognized subject matter expertise in performance testing.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Hands-on experience with performance testing and automation tools such as NeoLoad, JMeter, and AWS Taurus.

Experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.

Proficiency in accessibility and quality assurance tools like aXe and pa11y.

Programming experience in Java and JavaScript.

Experience with API and integration testing using tools like Postman in AWS and Rest Assured.

Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control using GitLab.

Experience with both modern and legacy enterprise technologies.

Experience in federal or large-scale enterprise IT programs is preferred.

Knowledge of information systems architecture, networking, and communications protocols is a plus.

Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies is advantageous.

Experience in modeling, simulation, or lifecycle management concepts is also preferred.

Prior involvement in independent validation and verification activities is a plus.
