Operator - Blending Loading
We are seeking an operator to join our team. You will be responsible for receiving, sampling, and unloading all inbound bulk shipments of used oil by railcar and trucks. This position is a great way to start building a career with Safety-Kleen. We are looking for a motivated individual who doesn't mind working out in the elements.

Ensures health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
Unload and sample rail cars, trucks and trailers into the used oil receiving tanks
Prepare the sample, submit for lab analysis, and enter data in the computer system for tracking and accounting
Accurately complete various shipping and receiving documents
Act as a spotter for track mobile to position for unloading
Perform daily inspections as required by environmental permits and MARSEC (USCG) requirements related to Homeland Security
Organize and maintain truck and rail unloading areas
Acts as a switchman for rail switches, tests, LOTO and prepare equipment for repairs
Other duties as required
What does it take to work at Safety-Kleen?
HS diploma or equivalent
6+ months manual labor experience in a construction, industrial or plant preferred
Experience unloading and loading rail cars, trucks and trailers an asset!
Great work ethic, attitude and good attendance
Must be able to communicate well with the team
Lift up to 50lbs, climb, work at heights, stand for long periods and work in all weather conditions
Valid driver's license required
