Dynamic modeling of Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) 2008-2009
EAF used for recycling the scrap using chemical and electrical energy. We can achieve desired grade of steel, by applying different chemical composition. In this modeling project I used various modeling parameters such as melting scrap at different mass, temperature, time, and composition. The whole process is depends on lancing Oxygen, Carbone, Lime and chemical reactions. Modeling is done by considering the Kinetics and Thermodynamics principals. Duration: 1 year and 6 month
M. Tech Seminar topic Automotive application of Magnesium alloy. 2008
Useful in Automotive parts, it has low weight to high strength ratio.
