• Pre screening the patients verbally and explaining the procedure and answering any of their concerns regarding the process and responsible for performance of all imaging procedures. Talks with the patient, asking questions and explaining how magnetic resonance imaging works.
• Positioning the patient, using restraints when necessary and selecting the proper machine settings. Monitors patient safety during testing and assures that the MRI equipment is working properly.
• Identified and ensured protocol accuracy as per ordering doctor’s requirements, including retrieving upcoming weeks patient orders, ensuring request accuracy, collecting relevant laboratory information, and verifying that the proper set of MR protocols were followed.
