PRESENT EMPLOYMENT: (2005 – till now)
Working with Aban Offshore Ltd as Offshore Installation Manager in a semi submersible production platform having Liberian flag with ABS class and ISPS compliance operating in East coast of India near Pondichery . Looks after the production / water injection facilities and the marine department operations. Also having control over the Floating storage tanker moored nearby with Normor buoy and their offtake operations with the sister tankers in tandem mooring.
Overall safety/security in charge of the platform controlling the PTW, SOP and work instructions, risk assessment, conducting safety/security drill and safety meeting, plan and organize for the crew training with their relevant work nature including in-house/on the job training. Prepares daily/monthly reports of production/safety with the dept HOD’s and co-ordinate with onboard client Representative.
Conduct in-house audits with respect to safety, ISO and co-ordinate with flag state, class and third party audit and survey for their compliance. Control all the PMS checks of all Departments and the inventory management with Maximo/IMS system. Monitors material manifest with respect to all supplies like food, fuel and stores items and plan for the supply vessel movements to base. Assist base manager for Capex/opex budget requirements.
Overall incharge of UWILD operation of the platform and looked after the BALLAST tank internal inspections with NDT methods and carried out the renewal of wasted structural column and CAISSON shell plate with the guidance of ABS approved WPS and further carried out the quality control testing of the work performed. Did modifications of process pipelines in production deck with reference to the operational changes following STD guidelines. Looked after the underwater inspection of the Normor buoy (SPM) up to the gravity base and the repair work of the carrier arm with the attending ABS surveyor.

STCW -95, Advanced fire fighting, HUET, BOSIET, Major Emergency Management training by Nuetec Global safety, Holder of valid Liberian CDC, Oil spill response plan training with EARL Singapore and Indian Coast Guard.
1.Worked as Commissioning Engineer for Petrofac International Sharjah. (2004-2005)
Successfully commissioned and handed over the Sudan –Diffra Feed production facility (50000 BOPD) having Oil, Gas, water with Free water Knock out vessels, separators, heater treater, produced water treatment (skimmer, WEMCO Depurator and CPI), test separator, storage facility and Gas Compressor.
Worked in Iran (Kharg Island) Feed Production facility (ELF Petroleum Iran) for the commissioning of Oil separators, Stabilizer, Gas treatment and Turbo Compressor, Gas/Water Injection facilities, Turbo Generators and Reverse Osmosis plant for fresh and de-min water production. Carried out Operational Test Procedures of all the equipments like pumps, compressors and turbines up to the client’s satisfaction.
2. Worked in Qatar Refinery (1997 – 2004) as Operations Engineer looking after UOP De-sulfurisation Units of Kerosene, Gas-oil, Naphtha and platformer unit, Acid Gas Recovery & Amine Treatment units
Monitor the plant performance by observing the operating conditions and studying Lab reports for product specifications, identifying the abnormalities and summarize the Daily performance and give suggestions to the departments.
Prepare the equipment maintenance report and schedule for preventive Maintenance and also plan for shut down if required. Identify the problems and discuss with other departments and give Technical assistance needed. Did Hazop study for modifications.
Worked in the Refinery Shut- down & Revamp activities with LG Korean EPC Contractors, P& ID Reviews, Commissioning and Start-up.
3. Worked in KUWAIT KNPC REFINERY ( 1995 – 1997 ) under contracting company as Operations Engineer in De-sulfurisation units of Kerosene and Gas-oil, Amine Treatment and Hydrogen production.
Observing the plant performance by collecting the operating data’s and product specifications and prepare daily production reports Mentioning the operating problems and maintenance activities.
Actively participated in the Refinery shut down and Reactor Catalyst change over.
4. COCHIN REFINERIES BALMER LAWRIE LTD (1993 - 1995)
Worked as EXECUTIVE Shift Administration in POLYBUTENE project.
Experience in LPG caustic washing- LPG Molecular sieve Drying & regenerations, Al2Cl3 Catalyst Preparation Section - Polymerization Reaction with Refrigerant Cooling- LPG Fractionation- Polymer Splitter under Vacuum and Storage with DCS Operating System.
Responsibilities: Checking plant performance, maintaining Product Quality, Achieving Production targets, raw Material planning, Product Blending & dispatch.
Worked from the Commissioning and Start up activities of the project in P&I review and prepared Operating Manual for the Units.

Worked as Deputy Manager Production in ALKYL BENZENE Project.
