KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Led strategic sourcing team across 400+ direct suppliers with a total annual spend of $140M worldwide. Increased Supplier OTD from <70% to 98%; which resulted in increased customer satisfaction by improving OTD to our customer to 95% to need by date and 98% to commit.
Developed robust process to identify and qualify new suppliers. Which included thorough quality and business audits, commodity and reliability specific test plans. Coordinated results to Copy Exact customers as required.
Responsible for total material cost standard and non-standard as they related to COGS. Led material cost reduction activities utilizing kaizens, should cost models, supplier and engineering collaboration; effectively reducing material cost by 20% over the entire AE product offering and contributed to overall company improvement by 14 points (GM%R).
Developed and implemented material strategy that aligned customer lead-time and ramp expectations, planning model, materials sourcing and replenishment strategy. Created more than $40M in cash by reducing worldwide inventory by 46%, resulting in more than doubling inventory turns.
Led project teams that resourced over 120 PCBA’s in 9 months and 375 PCBA’s in 15 months while experiencing increased customer demands. The resourcing resulted in reduced lead-times, reduced material liability exposure, cost reduction, and decreased DPPM. Throughout the transition the team didn’t impact a single late order to a customer.
Developed and implemented methodical systems to manage, measure, improve supplier performance around quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction. Developed communication tools including quarterly business review, monthly supplier score cards, and weekly forecast updates.
Implemented an objective-based deployment system throughout the commodity management team using OSTM (objectives, strategies, tactics, and metrics) approach. Utilized weekly and monthly dashboards to monitor success.

RESPONSIBLITIES: Managed over 25 supply chain professionals within the Supply Chain department both in the US and China. Worldwide departments and functions included Supplier / Commodity Management, Supplier Contract Administration, Commodity Procurement, MRO Purchasing, and Supply Chain Project Management roles.
