Involved working with the City of London, Ontario to develop a Neighbourhood Environmental Assessment Tool in which neighbourhoods can use to rate themselves based on an assessment of their environmental and sustainable behavior. Involved working with a research team that collectively plans and carries out research and writing tasks which involved negotiating research questions, hypotheses and terms of reference with detailed and comprehensive methodology for primary research augmenting secondary literature; holding stakeholder meetings; revising work for improvement of user friendly aspects. Final product in use by City of London.
It includes planning and writing a report that presenting findings.

Course considering concepts of sustainability in resource management and environmental contexts; provides education in resources, resources management as well as legal framework within Canada and United States, including attention to different forms of planning and techniques used in the environment and resource management, such as cost-benefit analysis and impact assessment. Involved an in-depth evaluation and report writing on environmental impact assessments, complexity, change and uncertainty associated with environmental management and planning approval. Key concepts involved the understanding, theory and practice of selected approaches to resource and environmental planning as well as problem solving.
Measuring Change in Environment and Sustainability of Ecosystems, University of Western Ontario, 2010-2011
A workshop that involves the principles that are used to measure and quantify the changes in the environment and sustainability of ecosystems including the mass and energy balances in ecosystems, kinetics of chemical and biochemical reactions, flow sheet of biochemical and chemical processes. It includes the use economic considerations and cost analysis of chemical and biochemical processes used to solve pollution problems and the use of quantitative measures of pollution and sustainability changes.
